Open Day Clay takes place every Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM (starting June 8th until the end of July!).
You’ll have the freedom to create your own piece at your own pace. We provide the materials, so just come ready to get a little messy and have fun!
This is not a structured class. We recommend coming with an idea in mind and being ready to explore creatively. While there is no step-by-step instruction, we will have instruction sheets available for
beginners, and a staff member will be present to assist if needed.
Ready to give the wheel a spin? Perfect for practicing your throwing or trying something brand new.
Includes:
A wheel rental for one person.
4 lbs of clay.
2 hours of wheel time, shaping, and painting.
Guided Support: You aren’t totally on your own! A staff member will be nearby to help you center, give tips, and assist if you get stuck.
A FREE STUDIO FEE CARD so you can come back and paint your item after its first firing!
After the Session: The firing and packing process begins! We will contact you in 3 weeks when your pieces are ready for pickup.
Food & Drink Policy: We do not allow food during these sessions due to the risk of food residues/oils compromising the ceramics. These oils can leave lasting, damaging effects on the clay. Drinks are allowed!
